The very first Star Wars collector's poster, this is among the rarest. Approximately 2,000 posters were printed to be sold (for one dollar) at a comic book convention in New York City in 1976. Some were given away at another comic book convention in the midwest the same year, and a few were distributed at a Worldcon around the same time. A very fine example of this poster was auctioned at Sotheby's in New York City in 1998 for approximately $3,000.00.  These posters are rarely offered for sale.

One of these posters in excellent condition is available. It has slight wrinkling in the white along the lower left edge. These wrinkles would be covered completely by a frame. The poster was kept rolled, so there are no folds.
